To Honor the Survivors

GS-N was established in October of 2010 as a group for children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors.  Based in the Las Vegas area, GS-N is dedicated to education, remembrance and commemoration. We work to support our local Holocaust survivors, educate the members of our community about the history of the Shoah (Holocaust) and ensure that the legacy of this tragic event in human history is not forgotten, denied or re-written.

GS-N works with Yad Vashem to help record Pages of Testimony and also will assist the survivors group with their speakers’ bureau.  In preparation for the future we will hold speaker training workshops for children and grandchildren of survivors to prepare us for the day when it will be our turn to speak to student and civic groups.

Members are welcome to suggest programs of interest.  As these programs are scheduled they will be posted on our website.  Future programs now in the works include a personal writing workshop to help us record our families’ histories and screenings of Holocaust-related films.
